According to official police reports, the driver, identified as Ravi from Pallikaranai, had successfully completed the day's scheduled trips and was driving the empty vehicle back to his base. During the transit, he noticed thick smoke billowing from the engine area. Attempting to prevent a disaster, he immediately pulled the vehicle to the side of the road to inspect the issue. However, the flames escalated with terrifying speed, rapidly consuming the entire bus.
